MED-EL RONDO 2 Single-unit Sound Processor
MED-EL has recently announced the launch of their RONDO 2 single-unit sound processor – an off-the-ear hearing solution. The RONDO 2 has been approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) and is expected to be included on the August 2018 Prosthesis List. The RONDO 2 will be available as part of MED-EL’s 2-ways to hear offer, where new MED-EL recipients receive a Sonnet ear-level processor as well as a RONDO 2 single-unit processor at switch on. The RONDO 2 will also be available as an upgrade device for eligible MED-EL clients.
The RONDO 2 features:
- Wireless charging on a charge pad, eliminating charging cables and the need to change batteries
- Up to 18 hours of battery life, ensuring uninterrupted hearing throughout the day
- Automatic sound management for optimal hearing across different listening environments
- Lifestyle and connectivity options, including the ability to connect to Bluetooth neck loops and hearing induction loops
- Discreet design with covers to blend with hairstyle and colour
