Coronavirus (COVID-19): Service update at SACIC

At SACIC, our mission is to provide a professional, personal and responsive hearing implant and rehabilitation service for people with hearing loss and deliver a lifetime of support to enable you to hear and communicate better and remain engaged with life. Our service prioritises the health and well-being of you and your family, SACIC staff and their families, and the wider community.

SACIC’s infection control protocols and procedures have been updated in accordance with the recommendations of SA Health and the World Health Organisation (WHO) in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We ask you to be aware of and respectfully observe these procedures when you attend your appointment at SACIC.

If you have respiratory symptoms, including fever, cough, sore throat or shortness of breath, please contact us to reschedule your appointment.

If you have travelled internationally in the past 14 days OR had contact with someone diagnosed with or suspected of having Coronavirus in the past 14 days, please contact us to reschedule your appointment. These measures will help protect the health and safety of you and others and will allow us to continue to provide services.

The team at SACIC values our relationship with you and would like to reassure you we remain open for business, available to support you and your hearing needs. We have options for service delivery, which should enable us to respond in a timely manner to the changing conditions presented by the Coronavirus. Our aim is to continue to provide a safe and seamless service, prioritising your health and well-being, while keeping you ‘on the air’.
